Welcome to Sarah's Letter!
Loving greetings to you in the most precious Name of Christ Jesus, the Name above all names!
My dear Friend, are you troubled by depression, anxiety, guilt, shame, fears, hopelessness, loneliness, even thoughts of death or suicide? Have you ever wished for a new life full of peace, joy, and love? Today you can begin to enjoy that new life in Christ Jesus. It's God's free gift for you!
The Bible says...
God created (made) man in His own image (from the dust of the earth). Then God breathed life into his nostrils and he came to life. God named this first man Adam.
God gave Adam a female support (Eve). They lived in the Garden of Eden. God told them that they may eat any fruit but not to eat fruits from one of the two trees He specially created which were in the middle of the garden. If they ate of it, they surely would die.
But they ate that fruit which God forbid, and thus Adam and Eve sinned against God by disobedience. As a result, they died spiritually (were separated from God) and were driven out of the Garden of Eden.
The Bible says...
“Therefore as sin (disobedience to God; breaking God's Law) came into the world through one man (Adam) and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all men sinned.” (Romans 5:12)
“None is righteous, no, not one;” (Romans 3:10)
“Since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” (Romans 3:23)
“Behold, all souls are mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sins shall die.” (Ezekiel 18:4)
“For the wages of sin is death.” (Romans 6:23a)
So all people are sinners and deserve death in hell, but ...
“... the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.”
(Romans 6:23B; NLT)
Because God loved us so much, He sent His only Son Jesus to earth to redeem (save) us from our sins and thus to save us from hellfire. Jesus came and died in our place to pay the penalty of our sins with His sinless life and precious Blood. Jesus was buried and God raised Him from the dead. (See John 3:16; Romans 5:8, 10:9B)
“For our sake he (God) made him (Jesus) to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him (Jesus) we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)
God did His part. Now it's your turn. What do you have to do now?
Jesus said that if anyone wants to get into heaven, he/she has to have their spirit which was inherited from Adam (which is actually dead by the sin of Adam), be born again, be born anew. Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” (John 3:5)
[Water here means the Word of God, which you read here now, and the Spirit (Capital ‘S’) means the Holy Spirit of God.]
“
You have been born anew, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God,” (1 Peter 1:23)
To be more clear, when a sinner hears the Word of God, it will prick his/her heart and the Holy Spirit will convince him/her concerning “sin” and “righteousness” and “judgment.”
“For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12; AMPLIFIED)
The Holy Spirit will help you to understand that you (i.e., all people) were going towards hellfire. If you humble yourself and look to God, and repent of (turn away from) your sins, God will:
- forgive you of your sins,
- give you faith to believe that Jesus came for you and died in your place,
- give you grace (undeserved favor) to confess (acknowledge/accept) Jesus as the Lord of your life and your personal Saviour.
Suppose you have invited a guest for dinner. What would you do? You would make your home cleaner, and when the guest comes and knocks at the door, you would open the door and say, “Please come in.” Right?
Just as we want our house to be clean to receive a guest for dinner, we want our hearts to be clean to invite/receive Jesus into our hearts. The first step is realizing that our hearts are “dirty” (full of sin). In fact, our hearts are so bad that we can't even see how awful they are!
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked/ corrupt:” (Jeremiah 17:9; KJV+RSV)
Soap and water won't clean our hearts. The only thing that can clean sinful hearts is the precious Blood of Jesus.
“...the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.”(1 John 1:7b)
“In him (Jesus) we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace which he lavished upon us.” (Ephesians 1:7-8)
“You must know (recognize) that you were redeemed (ransomed) from the useless (fruitless) way of living inherited by tradition from [your] forefathers, not with corruptible things [such as] silver and gold, but [you were purchased] with the precious blood of Christ (the Messiah), like that of a [sacrificial] lamb without blemish or spot.” (1 Peter 1:18-19; AMPLIFIED)
We need to confess (acknowledge/say “Sorry” for) our sins directly to God and sincerely repent of them. That means that we need to agree with God about our sin, and then turn away from it and turn toward God. God is waiting for our confession to forgive us our sins and to make us clean and white.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9 NIV)
“Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.” (Isaiah 1:18)
Our heart is a home and the door is locked from inside. We have to unlock it, open the door, and invite Jesus into our heart.
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20)
So, dear friend, would you please say this small prayer now, so that you may invite Jesus into your heart? It takes less than a minute! The Bible says,
“That if you confess (acknowledge/say) with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” (Romans 10:9-10)
Please carefully read, believe and say the prayer, so you can hear it with your own ears. It is important to pray seriously, from your heart.
And remember, you are praying to God, not me.
Let us pray now ....
Dear GOD, I am a sinner. I am sorry. Please forgive my sins.
Wash me and cleanse me in the precious Blood of Jesus, and make me as white as snow.
I believe Jesus died for me, and was buried. I believe that You raised Jesus from the dead.
I now accept Jesus as the Lord of my life, and my personal Saviour.
My Lord Jesus, please come into my heart, NOW.
I submit my spirit, soul, and body to You, Lord Jesus!
In Jesus’ Name, I rebuke and renounce Satan and all his works in my life.
Lord Jesus, please fill me with Your Holy Spirit and make me what You want me to be, and guide me into all the truth.
I thank You, Father, for forgiving my sins and saving me, and making me Your precious child.
In Jesus' Name, I pray, Amen.
Now, if you have really prayed, seriously, from your heart, dear friend, I am going to ask you a simple question. Think and tell me:
Where is Jesus now?
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
If your answer is, “Jesus is in my heart now,” I believe you really have prayed. Yes, Jesus is in your heart now. We say “thank you” when we receive something, right? Thanking is the purest expression of faith. Please say, “Thank You, Jesus!”
Until you said that prayer accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, your relationship with God was as “a Creator and His creation,” but now it's changed to “a loving Father and His beloved son/daughter.”
Scripturally, now you are saved (born again). You have become a true Christian, a child of God, as per John 1:12-13: “But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God; who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.”
For every birth (life) in this natural world, a seed (sperm) and an egg are required. And so it is in the spiritual world where the “egg” is our spirit and the “seed” is the everlasting, incorruptible Word of God.
“
You have been born anew, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God;
for 'All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls,
but the word of the Lord abides for ever.' That word is the good news which was preached to you.” (1 Peter 1:23-25).
Therefore rejoice, be happy, you are now a new-born infant in the eternal family of God. Born again means a brand new person (see 2 Corinthians 5:17). That's what God wants you to be.
This is God's simple “Plan of Salvation!”
God made salvation available for us by His grace (His favor that we don't deserve); we have to receive it (make it ours) by faith (belief and trust)!!! We don't have to pay anything, hence it’s written, “the free gift of God” (Romans 6:23b).
Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift! (2 Corinthians 9:15)
“Free gift” does not mean “cheap gift.” Salvation is most precious and an invaluable gift from God to mankind because Jesus paid for it (for our sins) by His Life and His precious Blood.
Suppose I gave you a gift, say, a pen. You may say, “Oh, this is just a pen” and throw it carelessly somewhere, or, you may say, “Oh, this is a beautiful pen” and use it daily. Keep your Salvation alive!!!

-- The Final Part --
The Bible (the Word of God) is God's “Instruction Manual” for you and me and all the human race, God's instructions telling us how to live here... what we should and should not do... and instructions telling us how to prepare for the life after here.
As mentioned earlier, you are now a newborn infant in the eternal family of God. An infant's main food is milk; “the Word of God is pure spiritual milk.” (1 Peter 2:2)
The Bible says our “good works,” are like a “polluted garment” (ref. Isaiah 64:6) (filthy rags) before God. Our religion or church/denomination can never save us from hellfire. Our bishop or pastor or priest or mullah can not save us from hellfire. Because of our sins, all people are bound for hell; that's the place we rightly deserve! No human being can save us from hellfire, but only Jesus!
The Bible says that we cannot “earn” heaven. It's a gift from God, by the grace of God through Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only way to heaven!
“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God - not because of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
If you had died before accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you would have been lost forever into unquenchable, never-ending hellfire. That's the seriousness!!!
Christian life, in fact, is a personal relationship between two persons; mine is between Christ Jesus and me, yours must be between Jesus and you. Keep your relationship alive!
If you are born in a Christian family, you may think that you, too, are automatically a Christian. But the truth is that no one is born a Christian, nor does being born and brought up in a Christian family make a person Christian because it is written, “For God shows no partiality” (Romans 2:11). It's not a mistake for a person to be born in a Moslem or Hindu or other religious family. Christ died for the whole of mankind. (See John 1:12-13; Romans 5:6)
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither male nor female; there is neither circumcised nor uncircumcised; neither barbarian nor Scythian, neither slave nor free man, neither Catholic nor Protestant; neither Orthodox nor Episcopalian; neither Methodist nor Baptist; neither name-sake Christian nor Moslem; neither Hindu nor Buddhist; for you all are one in Christ Jesus, and Christ in all. (Ref. Galatians 3:28; Colossians 3:11)
“For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all and bestows his riches upon all who call upon him. For, every one who calls upon the name of the Lord (Jesus) will be saved.” (Romans 10:12-13)
“The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all men everywhere to repent ... and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.” (Acts. 17:30 & Luke 24:47)
Many people think there is no God or some think they can call upon God at the last moment; but, sadly, they don't realize that they may fall back and die at one minute to twelve! They don't get a last chance! Many laugh at Hell, but Hell is a reality.
The famous writer Dante wrote that there could a big board at the gates of hell saying, “Abandon hope all ye who enter in.”
The wisest of the wise, King Solomon, wrote, “A wise man is he who avoids the hell beneath” (ref. Proverbs 15:24). That means that if a person lives for 100 years, goes to church or mosque or temple regularly, always prays, gives alms, helps the poor, was baptized when he was an infant, receives holy communion, etc., etc., but has no personal relationship with Jesus, he is a loser. Unless he/she calls upon the Name of the Lord Jesus as his/her Saviour, Jesus cannot save that person from hellfire, not because He is powerless or incapable, but because He does not change His Word.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8 NIV)
“I the LORD do not change;” (Malachi 3:6a)
By God's grace, now you have become a Child of God. Your next step of obedience to God, your Father in heaven, is to take baptism in water, to (symbolically) identify yourself with Jesus in His death, burial, and resurrection so that you may walk in the resurrection newness of life.
Now the Holy Spirit is inside you as a down-payment to assure you that you belong to the eternal family of God. You need to receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and lead a new, holy, and victorious Christian life.
We are compared to trees in the Bible. Jesus said a good tree is known by its good fruits and a bad tree by its bad fruits. The Bible commands us to bear good fruits of repentance!
What really is repentance?
You (i.e., all people) were going towards hell. While going, you heard the gospel of Christ. Then the Holy Spirit convinced you of “sin,” “righteousness” and “eternal judgment,” and you understood that you are a sinner and you were going towards hell. You stopped there, turned to God and apologized for (said “Sorry” for) your sins, and decided to follow Christ. This is repentance, which simply means a “U-Turn” (“about face”) in the course of your life."
Please humble your heart and allow the Holy Spirit to change your life... your behavior, your look, especially your talk. Born again means a brand new person. That's what God wants you to be.
“Therefore if any person is (ingrafted) in Christ, the Messiah, he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old (previous moral and spiritual condition) has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17; AMPLIFIED)
The people whom you meet in your daily life must see a change in you, and they must ask, “Hey, something has happened to you. What is it?” Then you can tell them, “It's because Jesus is inside me now; He changed me.”)
Use this opportunity to tell them what Salvation is, and help them understand how to invite Jesus into their lives and be saved, be born again.

REMEMBER: Each one of us will have to stand before God on Judgment Day and give account of everything we do, say, and think here on this earth. The Bible says, “Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment...” (Hebrews 9:27). God has fixed an appointment for each one of us to meet Him personally and face-to-face, on the Day of Judgment. There are no exceptions! Absolutely no one will be exempted! So live today as if you will stand before God tomorrow!
Did you say the prayer given above? If not, I hope that you will pray now and receive God's free gift of eternal life.
Lord Jesus, please fill me with Your Holy Spirit and make me what You want me to be, and guide me into all the truth. I thank You, Father, for forgiving my sins and saving me, and making me Your precious child. In Jesus' Name, I pray, Amen.
If you have prayed and accepted Jesus today (through this site), dear brother/sister, please
so that I may rejoice with you. You are also welcome to sign the Guestbook below to tell others about your new faith in Christ Jesus.
Do you have a Bible? Please write this date (today) in your Bible as “I am saved/born again (today's date)” or “I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour (today's date)” or “The day I became a Christian (date).” If anyone asks you, “Are you saved or born again?” say, “By His grace, yes, I am.”
“I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” (1 John 5:13 NIV)
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. Amen.
Yours in Christ,

(All verses are taken from RSV Bible unless otherwise shown; attributes added.)
